Collin Oxspring, DMD Collin Oxspring, DMD has been caring for Alaskans dental needs since 2015 when he moved from Arizona to Anchorage. Dr. Oxspring lived all over the U.S. during his childhood and also had the experience of living in Italy and Africa. When he moved to Alaska he fell in love with the people, the scenery, and the lifestyle and knew he had found a home for himself and his family. Dr. Oxspring is proud to be an Alaskan and happy to be raising his children in Wasilla while serving our community as a Dentist.Dr. Oxspring graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Biochemistry and then attended dental school at Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ. One of the highlights of dental school for Dr. Oxspring was being able to spend a week in Tonga offering free dental care to those in need. Dr. Oxspring loves learning about the latest dental technology to help make your visit more enjoyable and stress-free. He believes every patient should be treated like family and that going to the dentist doesn’t have to cause anxiety. He shares the Aurora Dental Care belief that going to the Dentist should be as painless as going to visit friends. Dr. Oxspring enjoys all aspects of general dentistry including tooth-colored fillings, crowns, bridges, veneers, root canals, extractions, and dentures. He especially loves treating emergency patients to tend to their needs and get them out of pain quickly. He is able to connect with people of many backgrounds. Dr. Oxspring enjoys establishing connected relationships with his patients to better understand their oral health needs not only as patients but as people. One of his favorite things about practicing dentistry is the opportunity to meet and care for entire families. Dr. Oxspring lives in Wasilla with his wife and children. They love to get outdoors to explore the beautiful state of Alaska. When he isn’t treating patients Dr. Oxspring enjoys photography, exploring new restaurants, serving with the youth at church, traveling, hiking, and spending time with family.
